Their story
Veronika L. and Alina M. are two women who personally rescue animals from frontline and near-frontline communities.
They help animals that were left behind during evacuation, injured by shelling, found sick or hungry, or brought from dangerous areas by local people. They coordinate transport, temporary care, veterinary treatment, food, medicine, and placement where possible.
The number of animals changes all the time. Some need urgent veterinary help. Some need food and temporary shelter. Some need transport from unsafe areas to people who can care for them.
This fundraiser supports the daily rescue work Veronika and Alina are already doing.
