evacuation
Older and low-mobility people need help leaving dangerous areas and covering urgent costs around and after evacuation.
Their story
Vera M., Tetiana S., and four other older people need help leaving dangerous areas in Donetsk and Kharkiv oblasts.
They have not been evacuated yet. Some of them live alone. Some have limited mobility. Some need help reaching an evacuation vehicle, getting to a transit point, or covering the first basic costs after arrival.
The evacuation itself will be handled by local evacuation volunteers and partner initiatives that already work with frontline communities. Angel1 helps cover the costs that often fall between larger systems: fuel, food and water during the journey, basic medicine, hygiene items, phone connection, short transit lodging, and first arrival expenses.
The goal is to help six older people move from immediate danger to a first safe place.
