The mystery of feet washing among other things is God’s wisdom for establishing dominion. What was lost in the first Adam, the second Adam brought it back. Verse3 “Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands and that he was come from God, and went to God’. He riseth from supper and laid aside his garment, and took a towel and girded Himself. After, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. Then cometh He to Simon Peter and Peter saith unto Him, Lord dost thou wash my feet? Jesus answered and said unto him, what I do thou knowest not now, but thou shall know hereafter. Peter saith unto Him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered, if I wash thee not, thou has no part with me”. (John 13:3-8 KJV) By this mystery exercise, Jesus was restoring to the new generation of the human race (the new creation), the dominion that was lost in the first Adam.
